The idea for Black Matter has been a long time coming. My history is within Social Work, a profession I have been proud to have been a part of for many years. The ideas within the book are an amalgamation of my experiences over these years, obviously with a little creative licence thrown in.

I have always been an avid reader, and love the kind of books that draw you in completely. Many times I have become furious with eyes that refuse to stay open at silly o'clock in the morning, just one more page!

Whilst Black Matter is my first novel, a book on which to cut my teeth, I do hope that readers find it enjoyable. A thrilling read that will keep you engaged, actually caring about the fate of the players.

I have commenced book two and this will hopefully be ready to publish in the spring of 2014. I aim to provide updates regularly on the usual social networking sites.
